About.

As Perth spills out into the countryside, our beautiful Marradong Country is fast becoming the place to be. Encompassing the Shires of Boddington, Wandering and Williams with vantage points on the stunning Hotham River, Marradong Country has one of the fastest growing populations in WA.

Thanks to our generous sponsors, GWN7, Go West and the National Australia Bank, Shire of Boddington and Marradong Country the Rural Living Expo 2016 showcases the benefits of our small farm and rural lifestyle.

If you dream of an alternative to city life, Marradong Country is your dream come true.

Offering a relaxed lifestyle with a sense of community, small acreage properties within close proximity of the city are an affordable option for your family. If you can picture yourself living among rolling hills, amazing jarrah forests, pristine pastures and amazing waterways come and take a closer look at the Rural Living Expo 2016.

Enjoy demonstrations and workshops on all things rural, from wood turning and blacksmithing to growing vegetables, cooking healthy meals and eco building technologies. Savour our gourmet foods, local wines and olive oils. Most importantly, the Rural Living Expo gives your children a real taste of country life. They will see small farm animals and wild life up close and personal. The rides and activities will have them begging to stay.

Registrations are currently open for exhibitors, entertainers and food providers. To register call Tahnee Forbes on 08 9883 4999 at the Shire of Boddington to secure your Rural Living Expo 2016 site.

Established in 2014 by the Shire of Boddington as part of their Economic Development Program, the Rural Living Expo 2014 was funded by a Royalties for Regions Supertowns grant.  Now the Shire of Boddington is supporting the project and believes it can be a major economic driver for the region of Marradong Country
